Privacy Policy
Effective October 8, 2026
Brain Dump Hotline is operated by Jack Rice ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use Brain Dump Hotline and how we use it.
What we collect
- Your phone number, from caller ID when you call us.
- Your reminders: what you ask to be reminded about, the time you choose, and your time zone.
- Your call: the audio of your call is processed to understand what you say, and we keep a written transcript of the conversation.
- Message records: whether each text was delivered, and how many reminders you have set each month.
- Opt-out status: whether you have texted STOP.
How we use it
- To create your reminders and send you the confirmation and reminder texts.
- To answer HELP requests and support questions.
- To honor STOP requests and apply monthly usage limits.
- To fix problems and improve how well the assistant understands callers, by reviewing transcripts.
- To prevent misuse of the service.
We never use your information for marketing or advertising.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or any other purpose of their own.
To run the service, we use a small number of service providers that process information only on our behalf: our phone and text message provider, our voice assistant and speech technology provider, our AI language model provider, and our hosting provider. They receive only what they need to provide their part of the service.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
We may disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep reminders and call transcripts for up to 90 days after a reminder is delivered, then delete them. We keep your phone number, monthly usage count and opt-out status for as long as needed to run the service and honor your STOP request.
Your choices
- Text STOP to stop all messages.
- Email support@braindumphotline.com to ask what we hold about your number or to have it deleted.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access limited to people who run the service.
Children
Brain Dump Hotline is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date above.
