Terms and Conditions
Effective October 8, 2026
1. Program
Program name: Brain Dump Hotline, operated by Jack Rice ("we", "us").
What it does: You call our phone number and tell our voice assistant something you want to be reminded about and when. We send you a text message confirming the reminder, then a text message with the reminder at the time you asked for. Brain Dump Hotline does nothing else: it does not read your email or calendar, and it does not call or text anyone other than you.
2. How you opt in
You opt in by calling our number and confirming a reminder by voice. The assistant tells you that you will receive a confirmation text and the reminder text. We only send texts to the number you called from. We never add you to marketing lists.
3. Message frequency
You receive two text messages for each reminder you set: one confirmation and one reminder. If a message fails to deliver, we may retry it once. We also send a single reply when you text STOP or HELP. How many messages you receive in total depends on how many reminders you set.
4. Costs
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard rates apply to messages you send and receive. A monthly limit on free reminders may apply. If we ever charge for reminders, we will tell you before you are charged.
5. Opting out and getting help
Text STOP to our number at any time to stop receiving messages. We will send one message confirming that you have opted out, and no more after that, including for reminders already scheduled. To start again, call us and set a new reminder.
Text HELP to our number for help, or email support@braindumphotline.com.
6. Delivery is not guaranteed
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We work to deliver every reminder on time, but delivery depends on your carrier and network coverage. Do not rely on Brain Dump Hotline for medication, medical, safety-critical, legal or financial deadlines.
7. Safe use
Brain Dump Hotline is designed for hands-free use. Only call while driving if you can do so safely and in line with local law, for example with a hands-free system.
8. Acceptable use
Only call from a phone number you are authorized to use. Do not use the service to send messages to other people, or for anything unlawful or abusive. We may stop providing the service to any number that misuses it.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date above. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
